Ngoné élue lauréate au concours de design joaillerie AWIMA 2021!

Very honored to be the winner of the jewelry design competition < a href = "https://awimaafrica.org/" target = "_ blank" title = "AWIMA" style = "color: # 2b00ff;" rel = "noopener noreferrer"> AWIMA with the Lady Aya brooch among the top 10 designers.
The fairy Lady Aya was chosen by the jury of experts and the public vote as a symbol of inspiration for all women in mining in Africa.
Thanks to the AWIMA team and its partners Levin Sources and the World Bank for this superb feminine project.
Thank you to the judges for choosing my Lady Aya design to represent the African woman in mining.
Thank you to all of you, to my blessed ancestors, to my family, my friends, to Senegalese people, Africans, French and to all those in the world who voted for me, supported my candidacy and shared my creation Lady Aya
Thanks to all these voices, Lady Aya's dream comes true!

Indeed the next step will consist in manufacturing the precious jewel by our talented African jewelers and with precious materials sourced in priority in the mines managed by women in Africa.
The income from the sale of the brooch will be used to improve the working conditions of African women in the mines and to create a social enterprise. A feminine project of pan-African unity that I salute.
Strength and courage to all women and to our mining fairies.
Ngoné Sagna Magin
